Classic Muffaletta Sandwich
3/4 cup Muffaletta olive relish
1 large fresh baked sour dough loaf, round, or hobo style roll
1/3 lb salami, turkey, ham, prosciutto or other deli meats
1/2 lb any kind of cheese you like, havarti, jack, provolone, Swiss,
etc.
Cut the bread in half horizontally as you would for a sandwich.
Scoop out some of the bread in the center of the loaf. Brush insides
of both halves with olive oil. On the bottom half place a layer
of meat, a layer of muffaletta, a layer of cheese, and repeat until
the sandwich is complete. Cut in wedges or slices and serve.
Muffaletta Deviled Eggs
6 eggs
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
2 tablespoons muffaletta
1/2 teaspoon paprika
Place eggs in a pot of salted water. Bring to boil and cook eggs
in boiling water 10-15 minutes. Drain eggs and let cool. When cool,
cut eggs in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and mix with with
mayonnaise and muffaletta. Spoon mixture back into the egg whites,
cool, sprinkle with paprika and serve.
Muffaletta Potato Salad
9 cups cubed, unpeeled red potatoes (about 3 lbs.)
1/2 cup diced celery
1/2 cup muffaletta
3 hard boiled eggs, chopped
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup mustard
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Place potatoes in a large pot, cover with water and bring to a
boil. Cook until tender, about 8 minutes. Drain potatoes and mix
with remaining ingredients. Cover and chill. Serves 4-6.
Muffaletta Chicken, Tuna or Salmon Salad
Add muffaletta to sliced chicken or a can of tuna or salmon. No
mayo needed...
Muffaletta Salad Dressing
Add Muffaletta to olive and vinegar for a great Italian dressing.
Muffaletta Lettuce Wraps
Grill meat or tofu with your favorite seasonings. Cook or steam
white or brown rice. Combine ingredients in the bowl of a lettuce
leaf, top with muffaletta and serve.
Muffaletta 1,000 Island Dressing
4 tablespoons muffaletta, 2 tablespoons mayonnaise, 2 tablespoons
ketchup. Use topping for sliced tomatoes, steak, chicken or seafood.

Christine's Zesty Tuna-Muffaletta Sandwiches
1 loaf white bread
2 cans tuna (your choice; depending on which type of dolphin you're saving)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
2—4 zesty dill pickles, chopped (I like to use Vlasic Zesty Whole Dill Pickles, but you can substitute any type of pickles here depending on your tastes).
1/2 cup pickle juice (from the jar above)
1/2 cup Amazing Gracie V's Muffaletta
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon to 1 tablespoon horseradish (taste bud defined)
Mix all above ingredients in bowl. Spread about 3 tablespoons Tuna-Muffaletta spread evenly on bottom half and cover with top half of bread. (Optionally spread more mayo on bread before using Tuna Muffaletta spread—calorie defined by user). Cut in half. Enjoy!
Seal and refrigerate if not completing entire recipe.
